the Sanctifier»
QUESITI Primo: È valido il Battesimo conferito con le formule «I baptize you in the name of the Creator, and of the Redeemer, and of the Sanctifier» e «I baptize you in the name of the Creator, and of the Liberator, and of the Sustainer»? Secondo: Devono essere battezzate in forma assoluta le persone che sono state battezzate con queste formule? RISPOSTE Al primo: Negativamente. Al secondo: Affermativamente. Il Sommo Pontefice Benedetto XVI, nel corso di un’Udienza concessa al sottoscritto Cardinale Prefetto, ha approvato questa Risposta, decisa nella Sessione Ordinaria di questa Congregazione, e ne ha ordinato la pubblicazione.
